3. Dal Santo
2. Blake
1. Kosi
Hayes and Goddard inseparable, I gave the 5 to Hayes because he won the Norm Smith.
That Goddard mark was spectacular.

Joey, are you kidding? I seriously hardly saw him all day, except for some tackles. Sam Fisher with the other two, for the top 3.SainterK wrote:5 Lenny

It's so hard after that, so I will leave it to others
Jason Blake, so proud of him, held his own!
Kosi, alot expected of him today, had to jump into the ruck, contributed to three goals
Gwilt, so solid and composed in defence
Gilbert, how long they been keeping that move under wraps, giving he was going to be tagged and all?

Sorry I must of seen it wrong, thought he delivered it in a fair bit, and attacked the ball.

Did you actually see the game or, for that matter, do you watch footy?AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Joey, are you kidding? I seriously hardly saw him all day, except for some tackles. Sam Fisher with the other two, for the top 3.SainterK wrote:5 Lenny

There's more to football than just kicking bananas from the boundary line.
Just looking at his stat sheet now - 23 touches, 11 tackles, and a crucial 7 clearances which was as much as any other Saint.
He was vital today.
I thought it was impossible not to notice his game.

He also seemed to deliver it inside a bit...maybe I shouldn't of let him convince me out of it?

Re: Votes Saints v Collingwood
There's no need to be silly, or get carried away. I was just asking a legitimate question, if that's OK. I watched the game on the TV and seriously hardly saw him all day. Saw Lenny and BJ and Fisher and the great jobs that were done down back, but, as I said, hardly saw Joey, except for his tackles. Glad he did well, though.Beej wrote:Did you actually see the game or, for that matter, do you watch footy?AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Joey, are you kidding? If we had access to their GPS readings I think we would find that Joey covered as much distance as anyone else on the ground.SainterK wrote:Phew, thought I may of been imagining things...Beej wrote:Did you actually see the game or, for that matter, do you watch footy?AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Joey, are you kidding? Gritted his teeth and put in a great shift. Absolute workhorse.

Also, if clearances are worth their weight in gold, they're worth double against Collingwood.
As we saw for the entire game, when they get the ball forward of centre, it stays there.
Winning a clearance and getting the ball forward of centre, or getting it out of D50, in a territorial war like that was, is worth a goal.
