we got the draw because we play saints footy...

very stiff not to win... kept collingwood to 2 goals in a half of footy

The thing is, they keep the ball around their forward 50 line a lot, so it goes just outside, then just inside, then back out, then back in, etc, which sends that tally soaring. It doesn't mean they are quality entries.

Inside 50's we got smashed sure

But what about scoring shots?

16 v 17 in our favour?

They were bombing it in there in the end, which was a win I thought

we doubled them in rebound 50's from defence which showed they were just worried about getting it in were we worked to score once inside. 49 to 24 rebound i50.

Wow. Strong ignorance.

An inside 50 isn't when the ball dribbles in and dribbles out and then dribbles back in again.

Nor is it an inside 50 if a defender kicks it backwards into 50.

An inside 50 is when an attacking player either runs, handballs or kicks it into his forward 50.

They will be focussing on restricting our defenders from rebounding - while we need to focus on more midfield support for Hayes and Goddard - and producing more run and inside 50 entries while restricting theirs.

I think we chose the right balance going in with 1 less tall - but unfortunately took in a couple of injured/suspect players, we probably had no choice.

Hopefully we will get things right - and tweak things better than they do.
