was thinking that as well......he's paying $126 so it may be worth putting something small on himsaintsRrising wrote:Blake has played enough in the ruck in the past.remboy wrote:Don't disagree with any of the reasoning but if Blake was going to play in the ruck in a grand final wouldn't he have played some minutes there in the lead up? We've played two specialist ruckman nearly all year, seems strange to try something different in the big one.
Besides who knows what happens in the closed sessions.
Also this might be the chance for Blake to bea surprise Norm Smith Medalist.
Blake to tag Brown.

Never polled a Brownlow Vote and won the Norm Smith!spyglass wrote:was thinking that as well......he's paying $126 so it may be worth putting something small on himsaintsRrising wrote:Blake has played enough in the ruck in the past.remboy wrote:Don't disagree with any of the reasoning but if Blake was going to play in the ruck in a grand final wouldn't he have played some minutes there in the lead up? Should hae gotten votes for his "sirengate" game.dcstkfc wrote:

He plays like that he is achance.
I can see him really exploting Brown if things go right due to his running ability.
Brown is used to taking advantage of a ruckman or somene like Hawkins. Copping a runner like Blake should have him gasping for air.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Maybe the $101 for first goal if he's rucking?saintsRrising wrote:Should hae gotten votes for his "sirengate" game.dcstkfc wrote:

Jase can play on Brown, more mobile than Mac obviously. The term 'tag' has been used very loosely, he's a good match up for him, allowing us to get in another smaller type defender into the side in Bakes, but Blake won't be 'tagging' Brown!! I remember the game where he kicked 3 in 5 minutes against the Hawks, and the final when he smashed Adam Goodes, he is a great match up and could be a game breaker!
Original thoughts were OMG what were we thinking but looking at matchups, is a pretty bloody good call on paper. I'm really feelin it for Big Mac though, he'll bounce back and hopefully play in many more to come for us in future years!
