Pies get to train on the MCG, Saints do not!

This is the biggest joke I've ever heard.
How can the AFL approve training for one side at the MCG and not the other?

They have decided not to train there.
But agree with your point - did we get the same offer?
When Freo came over here for that final against Geel they asked to train at the G and were refused despite the fact that half the team had never even played there.
It is just another example of the AFL's one rule for Eddie - different rule for everyone else

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Note where Hutchison says the Saints have had the opportunity to train on the MCG for every week of the finals but knocked it back.

Though Greg Hutchison, Saints football manager, has been quoted in today's paper as saying the Saints had the offer of training at the G in every week of the finals this year but due to logistics the club has declined the offer.
