Ahem...I think you'll find it wasn't a hit on Kosi, I was a high tackle to the Dogs.plugger66 wrote:[I did see the hit.

I can see it both ways, the idea of Blake playing on Brown in every position is valid, Blake has the ability to play on him as a backman and in the ruck and would keep him honest if he dropped into defense to fill a hole at the end of a quarter etc.
On the other hand I saw the ruck as one of our biggest advantages, Geelong resisted playing 2 rucks last week and it certainly did them no favours?
Part of me is partial of the late change philosophy and part sees the Blake to run with Brown idea being solid? The question is if Blake plays on Brown and Zac takes Cloke then who gets Dawes or vice versa? Gwilt or Fish?

It wasn't a hit on Kosi. It was Kosi running into someone he didn't see, copping bruised ribs and giving away a free for high contact.degruch wrote:Ahem...I think you'll find it wasn't a hit on Kosi, I was a high tackle to the Dogs. :Pplugger66 wrote:[I did see the hit.

He also said he told McEvoy the news and he didn't take it well.mbogo wrote:Lyons comment when they put this to him on TFS tonight said "we went in last week with 26 and 26 this week" and he grinned!
He does not know yet!
Went on to say the club will need to spend some time with him in the near future to help him with the disappointment, but now it's about Saturday and winning a game of footy.
Sounds like Mac is definitely out.

Either as you've said, he's definately out, or its all part of the game.
Interesting of Ross to acknowledge there will be work to be done.

Thats what Ross is paid to do, make hard decisions.plugger66 wrote:RL has put his balls on the line. If we win it could be a great move but if we lose he could cop it and may deserve.
I would be disgusted if anyone became an "in heinsight expert" and bagged any decision Ross made. He has all the information at hand.
In Ross we trust!!!
Be proud of the boys and Ross and everyone involved whatever the result. We are merely supporters and we should pay our membership and support with everything we have. Even after the game win loose or draw.
Go Sainters!!!
i think this is the first time that mini has been named on the bench..i think that you cant drop players from the actual starting line up without getting some sort of fine but you can the guys on the bench...if there is a change it will be one of the following mark my words Sean Dempster, Andrew McQualter, James Gwilt or Steven Baker..

First post I completely agree with.Saints43 wrote:I think Big Mac will play. One of either Baker, Dal, Gram or Eddy will miss. All under match/fitness clouds.
I can't imagine RL not playing two specialist ruckmen in any match.
However, the point made about us being too tall the last few weeks was interesting. Has Blake really been spending a bit of time on the pine? And Gardy?
If they feel there's a structural problem, then fix it, sure. But on the eve of the Grand Final?
Wow.
I would have thought Blake was required to blanket Cloke, anyways, so that would mean Kosi as 2nd ruck.
Seriously - can't see that happening.
Gram or Eddy Out. Mac In.
