Koisi may have a broken rib...
According to Glen Jakovich
Claims he broke it that bump against the Dogs when he copped a big bump.

I wondered the same thing when watching the replay. I guess they'll strap him up and he'll still play.saintsRrising wrote:According to Glen Jakovich

With Rhys able to play as a key forward....but not yet good at bodywork in the ruck...plugger66 wrote:Hope not but very strange 2 talls as emergencies.
If the rumour is right...hopefully is just a minor crack..... Rhys may just bea plan B in case Kosi wakes up sore on sat.

Watched the replay again today. I remember at the time when he went off they were saying he was heavily winded and was vomiting.
He played much better in the second half after the knock and had many more strong contested plays. Surely not possible with a broken rib. Then again, apparently at least one, if not two of the dogs players ended up with broken rib too apparently. Who knows. Fingers crossed this is just a rumour. THere's always rumours in GF week.

Yep, that should put this rumour to bed.saintnick12 wrote:Watched the replay again today. I remember at the time when he went off they were saying he was heavily winded and was vomiting.

Some of the things he was doing post-bump would've been pretty difficult with a broken rib.
Surely we would've seen him grabbing at it if he was in pain, which he should've been with a cracked bone in his rib-cage, no?

True. There was footage of him rubbing it on the bench, but you would do that anyway during the game if you'd just copped a big hit there. Doesn't mean there was a break. And surely McEvoy wouldn't be out with Kosi in doubt.Beej wrote:Yep, that should put this rumour to bed.saintnick12 wrote:Watched the replay again today. That's right. Kosi's second half was a lot better and his mark in the last quarter on the wing was taken on the stretch. Couldn't do that with a broken rib. I reckon he was just winded and Jackovich is a wa**ker!Beej wrote:Yep, that should put this rumour to bed.saintnick12 wrote:Watched the replay again today. Not really strange to have 2 talls listed. The only other two he had listed as emergencies over the finals are Armo and Steven and going by the game time Ross gave them, they were only making up the numbers. Same with Stanley. Geary is ahead of them.saintly wrote:and if stanley comes in he has not played for 5 weeks i think.plugger66 wrote:Hope not but very strange 2 talls as emergencies.

Could be bruised or even cracked will not stop him..look at Matty Lappin for the Lions in 02..can be jabbed and a vest can be used..fear not Guys Kosi will be fine
