Harf wit on SEN
Daniel Harford had Lloydy doing the fantasy coaching of the Pies on SEN then had the reverse with Scott Lucas for us. Lucas was on yesterday giving us no chance, he then laughed with harf about having to do the Saints to which Harford replied "usually Grand finals are tight and you can put a case for both teams." apologising for Lucas having to do it.
Am I in La la land or are we still a chance? I would not put us in the same category as Port scraping into a GF with Geelong. Are they punters just seduced by the first quarter against the cats or are we pointlessly optimistic?
Surely there is a very good case to mount for a Saints premiership. Lloyd pretty much went through the Saints backline and said they should tag the whole lot then the same in the midfield and forward line. Genius should be coaching, Lucas said we should try to slow the game even though it won't do any good or really be possible- well thats how I heard it.

True Lucas picked Pies and then played the role why saints could....
Harf implied you could although he picked pies....reference to GF teams normally close was to support not ridicule as you say......
but yes the Pies were picked by Harf/Lucas/Lloyd

Folks... the game starts at 2.30 on Saturday.
Dont get sucked in like the filth fans have into believing that if they are the loudest advocates, the biggest punters, get tipped by the most 'experts', or win the most hun polls that it will make the least difference when the ball is bounced.
We are going to hit them early... so hard, and so ferociously that they will collectively shyte themselves.
Lock it.

We are so low key......It is so quiet it is almost unnerving.
I think it really suits us though. Really I do.
Have this funny feeling that the squad is gonna explode on game day.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
This. I am pleased about all the hype and publicity Collingwood is getting - we are just quietly going about our business in the background, leaving our 'talking' to the football field on Saturday...bigred wrote:We are so low key......It is so quiet it is almost unnerving.

I was just saying to a mate that I felt there was a bigger media build up to R14 2009 for St Kilda.bigred wrote:We are so low key......It is so quiet it is almost unnerving.

I suppose we can let them know we're in it on Saturday...

I have had enough so much of it today I have turned SEN off, even the news is about Collingwood, you would think it was Collingwood Vs Collingwood this weekend.bigred wrote:Cant blame you Gringo...

I am sick and tired of hearing about Simon PrestigiaHOMO, nothing but the Saints might make changes IE: Bakes, its all Collingwood.
Suits me in a way, let all the pressure be on Collingwood.
In Ross Get lost!
I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

Collingwood supporting nephew rang me last nite, he is shiteing himself now - can't stand how quiet we are!!! He is finding it unnerving that it is all collingwood in the paper, no big statements coming from Moorabbin, nothing..
He is really fearing what is going to happen - thinks we will just come out smoking, fairly smoking!!!
Interesting perspective - most filth fans are salivating over all the press coverage.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Been like it all year.
Your nephew has good reason to be s.hiting himself.
The Saints have suprised even a long time watcher like me, the way they dismantled Geelong in the first Final.
If it wasn't for rain and Ablett we would have won by 8-10 goals.
Against the Dogs, we went in hot favourites - not our go, and looked a bit rusty.
Come the second half and we were awesome, played 15 minutes of footy and then took the foot off about 8 minutes out from the 3/4 time break.
Fourth qtr - kicked three quick ones and then put 5 on the bench FGS.
We played about half a game of footy on the weekend and then had a training run.
Quiet, in the bubble and letting the inexperienced Collingwood players get overawed by the week.
Their players would have played the game a 1000 times before 2.45 next Saturday.
Let them have ALL the publicity, all the so called pundits.
We have Roubd 26 to play and win on Saturday.
Lance or James??
