Cricket is on in the background while I'm doing some work( ie: trawling Saintsational etc) and the commentator has just said "Collingwood is really struggling out there in the middle" "Yes, Collingwood is in real trouble" agreed his mate!!! I'm off to bed before he improves.

I have the best one. I went to a high school social in about 1985 themed '2010' while everyone else wore post appocylipse type clothes I dressed in my StKilda Jumper and shorts and took a cardboard pennant saying 'StKilda Premiers 2010'

I still have the sign ready for this weekend.

That's the WINNER! What foresight you had as a young man.

He could have told us a long time ago! Then all the previous years wouldn't have hurt as much in the lead up

I liked this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cork beat Matty Clarke's team, Down by one point in the Gaelic Football final in Ireland on Sunday. Cork lost last years final.

I tried to find some history on Cork in Gaelic Football (ie what happened in 1966) but it did not go back that far. But I did find this:

In 1966, the Cork Hurling team won their first Munster title in a decade and advanced to an All-Ireland final decider against Kilkenny. While Kilkenny were the favourites Gerald McCarthy captained one of the youngest Cork teams ever to victory.

AND YES I KNOW PLUGGER, IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING....

Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.
