Ross' Injury Policy

Post: # 995587Post henno »

Just read an article where Jason Gram said he was roughly '90% fit to play' and Ross stated that players HAD to be 100% fit to play...

just thinking that Zac was on a drip the night before the GF last year, and he had a fully fit Max on the sidelines, has he changed his stance or is he just contradicting himself?

Could be why Baker hasnt played... Probably worse than letting on...

So Zac was unwell, he hasnt had a soft tissue injury like max did,

I dont think he has changed his stance, but if you look into it, we know he played Roo with an injury in a GF so you never know

I would not take him literally as both teams will have many players not 100% fit.

Can he push through the pain and to give 100% effort?

Or can he play unrestricted if he has a jab?

Those are the tests.

Even before Gram aggravated his groin on Saturday, he hesitated to kick long on the run in every game since his return from surgery and he props a bit before he kicks. Grammy is not the same player he was.

Does anyone believe anything either club says during GF week?

you serious or on the juice patty?

Why would you play a bloke in a GF who has not played for 3 months?

Massive risk, completely nuts.

WON'T happen.

If Gram is not fit to play, then my guess would be Geary as a replacement.

But Gram will play - a week of treatment on the scar tissue should sort it out.

If that isn't enough, then a jab pre match will give him enough movement to be effective.

Baker cannot be dismissed. His presence is worth a lot on its own ..if anyone can miss that much footy and still give 110% its Bakes.Watch this space..

Just think Gram looked very proppy and a jab is not the answer in a GF IMO!

Not to say Geary and even Steven and Armo don't come into consideration...someone will be unlucky..Tough call regardless

Max was not 100% fit for last year and could have played BUT was highly likely not to last out the whole game and was too high a risk on GF Day
