Early Birthday Present.

Post: # 994596Post Launcestonsaint »

As a young boy (a few years ago  ), my parents alway gave me my birthday present on either June 25th or September 25th. My birthday is December 25th so I got my birthday presents early to separate them from Christmas presents.
My mother has asked me for months what I want for my birthday & I have told her that I want a St. Kilda Premiership. Last Sunday I told her that it was time for my present to be delivered next Saturday, September 25th.

I was born on Grand Final day in 1976 and this year my birthday just happens to fall on Grand Final day with the saints playing. We have to win, it is meant to be!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

I'm young enough to see our next premiership on Saturday (I hope).
