So i was wondering why edelsten got invited given he has zero association with the afl. And it occurred to me that its a practical joke.Moccha wrote:I wonder why they show the Brownlow on TV. It's as boring as batshit.
Some funny marketing person at the afl invites them along as a joke so folks at home can have a good old fashioned laff. Its like the Dinner Game (and the crap american re-make dinner for schmucks).

I tell you what you wouldn't want be the security at the Myer music bowl if the lose- or win. We should say our goodbyes to an old land mark.
The only good thing is there will be a few less pies supporters by the end of the day regardless. They will eat each other. It will be like a Carl Williams gym session down there.

I had no idea of this...
Geoffrey Edelsten produced two number one records - "Everlasting Love" by the Town Criers (this song has been recorded many times since by numerous artists including Doug Parkinson, U2, Gloria Estefan and others, and was in the “Bridget Jones Diaryâ€

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspx"We've worn [our home jumper] from the very first game we played in, so we're delighted to be wearing it on Saturday," Collingwood president Eddie McGuire said.
He is the reason why I don't listen to MMM in the morning anymore. Even in the afternoon I heard a promo where he somehow related Judd to the filth. I'm just sick of every word that comes out of his mouth having something to do with the filth. Scum of the earth that Eddie is...

and the whole of the Filth have been way ahead of themselves for weeks ....led on gratuitously by the money hungry press..bless their...um..ah..souls
they are going to get the biggest reality check ever on Saturday, and we've served these up to them regularly over the past 3 or 4 seasons if my memory serves me correctly!!
The rest of the footy world is hoping like hell we can save them the pain of a Filth Premiership too!!!
