Gotta be between Dempster, Mini and Bakes. Dempster can play up forward but not as well as Mini. Will depend on how they train, and matchups, I reckon.

Mini certainly had an average game against the Dogs, however i reckon he would be the first choice player to play on Maxwell this week. He has played this role well in the past and plays very competently when the midfield play through him before the forward line...
Eddy DESPERATELY wanted to prove his spot against the Dogs and i reckon he would be a certain starter on Saturday. Bakes would be a worthwhile inclusion thanks to his poise in the backline (something needed against Collingwood's forward press), but i just can't see him coming in...
I reckon Gears is probably a bit stiff too!

Dont know?plugger66 wrote:Why would they let him train if there was a doubt?rexy wrote:Dont think Gram will come up?
Looked very sore.
I might be wrong, its just what I think! I dont have any sources or inside words!
Maybe he has to train as he has to get through to prove his fitness?
Maybe they trained fairly tamely today? I was not there.
Gram doesnt have a problem with running or kicking but IMO has a large problem with bending over and picking up the ball below his knees? Or he is a squib????? but I prefer the injury theory!
Maybe this year?
What they did at training today was basically nothing but it was obviously people with even slight injuries did less. Gram did everything so I have no doubt he will play. As for dal, lets just hope he is fit.rexy wrote:Dont know?plugger66 wrote:Why would they let him train if there was a doubt?rexy wrote:Dont think Gram will come up?

unfortunately, if we replace either dal or gram with bakes then we're seriously short in the midfield. if dal doesn't come up then armo has to come in. if gram doesn't come up, then, well, i don't know who comes in. geary, probably.SainterK wrote:Who ever was unlucky enough to not recover from injury in time.
Hope you are right, but also hope he is only picked if he is 100% fit. Cant afford to carry anyone in who is not going to approach every contest at a million miles an hour.plugger66 wrote:What they did at training today was basically nothing but it was obviously people with even slight injuries did less. Gram when fit is a certain starter, but he is not best 22 when he is injured IMO, some players still are, Harvey, Hayes, Reiwoldt can all contribute more than their replacement whilst carrying an injury but they are special players.
Maybe this year?
