Does the thought of losing 2 GFs in a row terrify you too???
I don't want to be a pessimist, and I do believe we can beat Collingwood, but I feel slightly ill thinking that we could lose 2 GFs in a row!
Anyone wanna convince me it will be alright and the Saints will win??!

Two months ago I wrote on Sainsational that we would get to the last day in September against the Pies and that we would win.
I am not changing my prediction. WE WILL WIN.

I have faith. I dont know how to explain it but I have a feeling about it.
I believe our boys can bring it home.
I believe our Saints have a fire burning in them. Their passion to win, led by Ross the Boss and our Golden Haired Captain they will dig in and fight tooth and nail for the flag.

Won't happen. So no.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

To be frank, the very fact it would be the 2nd devastating loss in a row is what gives me confidence.
Saturday's game didn't, and the Pies looked remarkable Friday night.
You can now only hope experience and the bottled devastation of last year will bridge what I see as a legitimate gap in basic execution.

Naturally no one wants to lose two in a row, but I have a belief and a feeling we are going to win, don't ask me why, but something seems to be telling me it is going to be a very happy Saturday for us.
Yes, the filth did look awesome on Friday night, but absolutely everything went right for them and something tells me they really geared themselves up to beat geelong because they had lost two preliminary finals to them.
Things wont be so perfect on them on Saturday, let's see how they handle having the pressure put back on them.
We all know what happens to their goal kicking when that happens, and they didn't like it when Adelaide and Hawthorn did it to them in round 21 & 22, though I do realise they had nothing to play for.
Personally, I believe players like pendlebury, Wellingham, Didak, Thomas, Beams and the rest if their younger brigade must be given very early reality checks early in the game with hard tackles and big, but fair, hits to put doubts in their minds.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
I have my fears and doubts
I also have my hope.
and should we lose, I'll still have a job, my three beautiful children, and while I am a fatty boomba, my health and I'm fortunate enough to live in a great country with great people so while I'll be down, I'll move on.

I don’t know about everyone else, but last year the GF week felt like a month, I couldn’t sleep, i wasn’t thinking straight, I didn’t feel like eating when usually that’s all i think about.....everything was weird.
this year, its already Brownlow night, i want it to go slower so i can enjoy the week, I didn’t really care i was late for training today as i saw it all last year, i have done some homework and been able to think about other things than St. Kilda, the week is totally different i think because we had it all last year.
hopefully the players are the same, taking it easy and resting well, and we can only hope Collingwood go through what we had to last year.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Yes it's almost BAU for us.
The experience makes such a difference.
Hopefully for Collingwood it is all hype and tension and pressure.
And that will reflect in their game - particularly early.
