Section M Row JJ, I am bloody rapt now let's just win the damn thing! This AFL Full membership has paid off the past couple of years!
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Awesome seats. Did you miss the prelim, or were you taking it in turns lining up. Where did you line up??dcstkfc wrote:M20 Row A - We queued from Thursday Night

Taking it in turns, I'm not actually sure who was lining up during the game last night. We were at Chadstone.saintnick12 wrote:Awesome seats. Did you miss the prelim, or were you taking it in turns lining up. Where did you line up??dcstkfc wrote:M20 Row A - We queued from Thursday Night
STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.

Those would be AFL members with the Collingwood club support packagae. Rank and file Filth fans have the same system as us.saint75 wrote:Our local Ticketek had people queued up since after the Pies game. Quite a lot of people. Didn't remember that happening last year. Do the Pies have a different ticketing system than St Kilda in regards to Grand Final ticketing? Or is this AFL members queueing up for seats?

Pies have a very high number of AFL members and St Kilda has a much lower number of AFL members apparently.saint75 wrote:Our local Ticketek had people queued up since after the Pies game. Pies members use it as a way to get GF tix as cheaper than the membership which comes with GF Ticket (legends level which is about $800), so many went for AFL instead after there last GF's. That's what I've been told by some pies supporters anyway

The only thing wrong with that theory is that it takes about 10 years to become a full AFL member.saintnick12 wrote:Pies have a very high number of AFL members and St Kilda has a much lower number of AFL members apparently.saint75 wrote:Our local Ticketek had people queued up since after the Pies game. Simple answer: you can't choose your seats on the internet (who knows why?), you just have to take what's offered or try again. So if you really want the front row, you queue up.plugger66 wrote:Can I ask why you just didnt use the internet?dcstkfc wrote:M20 Row A - We queued from Thursday Night
I have got close to my perfect seats - alas - I'll be surrounded by Collingwood neanderthals. There was a large group of these slobs nearby on Friday night who just made the event misery of any Geelong supporters. You know the type, they yell "ball" when any opposition player grabs it irrespective of whether he is tackled. They spend more time on their feet than sitting, in between getting gallons of beer to spill on everybody. There should be a special enclosure, with padded walls.
