Saint Nick, after an early 3rd term scare lifted and led our team to a memorable quarter. Saints footy at its finest with everyone giving it their all.

27 points in half a game, 34 points in half a quarter. Sensational.

Also, Robert Eddy is as rock solid as anyone going at the ball. I fear for his safety.

common themes there. slowish start. great 2nd and 3rd q's. foot off the accelerator in the 4th.

Interesting that when we put the foot down, Goddard was basically out of the game.


Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

Plays in spurts, doesn't he? It looked like he was moved forward during the latter half of Q3, around about the flat area...had little effect.

Might have gone missing at parts in the 3rd, but he did deliver that crucial (and sublime) kick to Roo.
