Official GF Injury Thread (Formerly Dal Santo and Gram)

Post: # 990565Post FQF »

Heard on the radio that both had minor injuries, continued to play but were clearly hampered at time.

Any news?

Gram was thought to have had a groin strain, after the game on One HD he said he was fine and it was only a corkie.

Dal Santo has a hamstring issue, but he played out the game. He was clearly restricted though, he was only kicking on his right foot and running at about half speed.

Kosi got smashed in the ribs at one point - appears to be okay. Riewoldt had an elbow to the head, he looked in a bad way but came back unbelievably strongly.

I will probably get abused for this but clearly both are injured and we need to take fully fit players into the GF.
GF's don't come around enough to take names when unfit.
Could be Bakes and Geary or Steven come in for them.

The club will do the right thing, but from Gram's body language after the match it didn't seem to be serious at all.

Dal Santo I'm not sure about, hopefully him running at half pace and kicking off his right foot only was merely a precaution in case there was a problem... I just hope he is okay.

ANybody notice Ross's 'slap' at Liar Malthouse in his interview after the game?
WHen asked about Gram possibly having a strained groin, Ross looked down the barrell and immediately stated it was only 'cramp'.

Pyssed myself laughing at that! :)

He is a classic :)

Seriously though, would they put either of them back if there was serious doubt?
