Anyone else get the email today and if so, are you going?
I have mixed emotions. Not sure how keen I would have been to be there after the loss last year. Have to decide by tomorrow lunchtime.

I think it's invitation only. Are you a coterie member saint75?

I didn't get an email.
Federation Square is the likely venue post GF. I hope to be there, but I haven't finalised my plans yet.
Docklands is the likely venue for the next day event. I will definitely be there if it is on.

My apologies. Just read the email more thoroughly and it is invitation only at the Melbourne Convention Centre a couple of hours or so after the game.

Looks like they are sending it out to Social Club first, then General members.
At $395 per ticket it might take a little while to sell out?

After all the other costs I can't justify it.
And probably won't be able to walk by that time of night anyway...

Daring to dream and we do win our next two matches, should those of us not invited to this function arrange a get together of our own??
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

I was working for the Lions in 2001 & the post match gala at Crown was a cracker... could only imagine what it would be like to be celebrating a Premiership of the club you love with all the players.
Disappointing that it's invite only & not available to the rank & file.
Oh well, a bonfire at Moorabbin will have to suffice!!

Getting ahead a bit here (we're not even there yet), but I would have thought the club might have made arrangements for the rank and file members to celebrate in one place, or is Fed Square it?
