James Bartel in an interview refer to 'Geelong Football' as in we know how to play Geelong football and that's what we need to do.
Along with 'pleasing' could be the next next Ross Lyonism to enter the footy lexicon.

I thinks it's originally an American thing but clearly the Saints have given it some widespread publicity in Australia. It's a great idea because it allows a team to develop its own brand and style in the way it plays the game.ttufc7 wrote:Heard it mentioned a few times by different clubs. Definately seems to be catching on

Every time I hear a player or coach mention the word 'pleasing' I have a chuckle. Ross was laughed at and stirred for the word and now it is the first word that comes out from a player/coach if they had a good game.
The 'Saints Footy' idea may be an American thing, but it is definitely been picked up due to the use by St Kilda. Ross seems to come up with a new word or phrase every year. What do you think it will be for next year...??
