GF tickets?
I am asking a question which may already have been covered....
How to get GF tickets if you're not Social Club. I am, but not all my relatives are.
I doesn't look like the non-competing clubs are selling off those $1300 packages at a reduced rate this year (yet) as happened last year.

In honour of those who went before, in the dark and desperate years.

This is going to be a hot question come 7 days time if we win.
What are peoples knowledge on the pass out system at the GF? I used it a couple of times last year on GF day,but didn't pay much attention. As in what colour pass outs do they use? Do they use the same one most weeks,or do they have a special Grand Final one even?
I've got one up my sleeve at the moment just in case I'm desperate.

do you go spend a few grand on the credit card confident you will make it and if worst comes to worse you have to advertise next week in the paper
'two afl GF packages avl for sale at cost price"
?
or wait till next week and go
f***
no prime packages left
standard only (if ya lucky)

Re: GF tickets?
I think that if its SAINTS v collingwood those $1300 packages will be gone very quickly. Scalpers will be asking $1000's and tix will be near enough to impossible to get your hands on. The only advise I could offer your relatives; PRAY !!I Love Peter Kiel wrote:I am asking a question which may already have been covered....

I doesn't look like the non-competing clubs are selling off those $1300 packages at a reduced rate this year (yet) as happened last year.
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

all Grand Final tickets are numbered and it's the one game where scalping is very very difficult...Eastern wrote:I think that if its SAINTS v collingwood those $1300 packages will be gone very quickly. the cats packages are series ones, which means you get into our Prelim as well as the granny.AdelaideSainter wrote:http://www.geelongcats.com.au/portals/0 ... ges_v1.pdf

So a $1,100 standard package is effective about a grand for the granny, but a shyte seat in the back couple of rows of Level 4!

The AFL expressed their disappointment that they had undercut every other corporate offer especially from the other AFL clubs. I don't think you'll see any offer from an AFL club near that price range this year.Animal Enclosure wrote:From memory Port Adelaide had the cheapest GF packages last year... about $800 I think.

i got one through Port for that price last year (Prime ticket with a ticket to prelim and breakfast).Animal Enclosure wrote:From memory Port Adelaide had the cheapest GF packages last year... about $800 I think.
They mailed last year's purchasers about 4-6 weeks ago, offering this year's deal. ($1K for a standard ticket and breakfast...so a much inferior package to last year).
They have all subsequently sold out though.
