Welcome Home Harves.
Fantastic news !!! I fist pumped when I heard the news whilst driving home. It was very embarrassing.
My three year old will be very excited. Despite attending his first AFL match (and Haves tribute match) when he was 12 months old and never otherwise seeing Haves play, yet he just loves him and can recognize him. He asked me just the other day to put on the Harvey Tribute Members DVD. So cute him sitting watching it. Very happy with the news in my household.
Not sure how good a coach he is, but apparently he's quite good. Is he going to be midfield coach or development coach? Wasn't he development coach at Carlton.
I think he'll be great with the young kids. He has is such a legend around the club and at least when he's giving advise about preparation etc they will know he's speaking from experience and if a few of our boys can pick up just a few percent from his presence, then it will be well worth it

as i live in sydney i went along to the swans - blues finals match here a couple of weeks ago. thought that in the third quarter the blues midfield worked like clockwork to free judd up and he played an amazing third quarter. sure he's a superstar, but i was very impressed by the midfield set ups that allowed him to get free.
hopefully the blues learnt that from harves and next year we can reap the benefits of a great football mind and a great saints man.
