Shane Tregear is one to look out for - silky skills and has a knack of kicking goals. Ive heard some negative comments about his speed though.
Jesse Smith is just about gone - he had a prolonged pre-season due to injury, was on a special rehabilitation program and unfortunatly broke down again after a few Sandy games.

I like the look of both Irving and Tregear.
I too understand Irving's firmly in sights. All day runner and seems a bit of a ball magnet from the few bits and pieces I've seen.
Needs a contract so he can afford a haircut...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Sandringhams highest vote getter was 1st year player Chris Irving, Irving finished on 9 votes. Another 1st year player James Magner finished on 5 votes.
Held at Etihad stadium last night the event also included the TAC Cup's Best and Fairest winner with Sandringham Dragon Jackson Sketcher sharing the honour with Dyson Heppell.

And I blame you, Mark McGough, for that!

No matter how good a player is, if they are lacking passion, I wouldn't touch him.plugger66 wrote:Apparently Irving has no interest in a AFL footy due to high paying job. Tregear isnt good enough IMO. The only player worth getting from them is Irving but if isnt interested lets go to the other 30 similar clubs throughout Australia.
And you're right, there are heaps of other clubs of the same calibre around Australia with lists of a similar quality.
We are not confined to Sandy just because they are our affiliate.
