Passage of play pre Milne's grubbered one was outstanding...

My two favourites were:

-Goddard kicking 55 metres to Roo running with the flight and hitting him on the tit. When Roo ran on into the open goal and his opponent fell the roar was amazing.

-Goddard getting the footy 55 out and having the skill and composure to launch it long and flat- Straight through, if ya don't mind!!

CJ's, but Goddard's and Milne's third were beauties also.

Schneider's goal in the last. That was the match saver

Another opportunity awaits!

there's no way that one was a shot. he was launching it to the spot and it happened to run through. very lucky, i reckon.

Yep...But it was still off his right boot wasn't it?

That in itself is an achievment.

Just like Varcoe.

That passage of play almost defines Lyon era footy. Skill in close. Strength in the contest. Fast hands. Hard running. Ball to advantage when a target is found.

Fisher was involved in the 'get out' in the pocket then burns of his opponent and bobs up as a target for Peake. Fisher at his prime. Peake's pick up was a beauty, so to Fisher's especially after such a long run to get there. Goddard's handball in traffic, so good. Milney's little pumping legs. And the finish.

Has it all.

Absolutely.

The best goal due to it's circumstances.

The set up by Milne brilliant too. The pick up in the wet, bork, and then pin point pass. Magical.
