Barrie Hall's puch
Just ambled past the TV where they show the Sydney/Carlton Game - Halftime. They just showed the Barrie Hall punch to one of the Collingwood players. A punch like this was included in Baker’s 9 weeks (approx. 2-3 weeks). Interesting to see whether or not Barrie gets suspended. I suspect not.

He'll go. Simply has to. Forceful clenched fist to the throat.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Re: Barrie Hall's puch
With his record, which is worse than Baker's, you'd expect 2-3 minimum if the Baker precedent counts for anything.
But that is assuming integrity from the AFL.
They do tend to cut Hall a bit of slack in finals, but that might be only when he when he is playing for the Swans or against St Kilda.

No such thing as precedent in play, but notwithstanding it was what it was and he should go because his record (I assume) is still s***.

Language = Fine. Not sure whether any points attached. Would have plenty of carry-over points !!Griggsy wrote:Was reported for abusive language also. Don't know what the penalty for that is but considering there is microphones on the umpires he can't really deny it.
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

They make me sick too. I reckon if there was no next week for Barry he would have decked him.jonesy wrote:Wish he had of dropped the wannabe world saver all the same.
Couldn't stand that American sport ego dribble he was dishing up in his face. Once they put that black and white jumped on they just get full of lip. Jeez they better not win it,they make me sick to the core

dogs will still have to beat the Swans. and i somehow doubt this will happen!#1GILL wrote:He has 96 carry-over points I'm pretty sure.
So that means he'll get atleast one week.
He would have to have a 50% loading too wouldn't he?
Looks like if Saints play Dogs they won't have their best forward, their best midfielder and their best match-up for Roo.
