Barrie Hall's puch

Post: # 982889Post GSG »

Just ambled past the TV where they show the Sydney/Carlton Game - Halftime. They just showed the Barrie Hall punch to one of the Collingwood players. A punch like this was included in Baker’s 9 weeks (approx. 2-3 weeks). Interesting to see whether or not Barrie gets suspended. I suspect not.

He'll go. Simply has to. Forceful clenched fist to the throat.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

With his record, which is worse than Baker's, you'd expect 2-3 minimum if the Baker precedent counts for anything.

But that is assuming integrity from the AFL.

They do tend to cut Hall a bit of slack in finals, but that might be only when he when he is playing for the Swans or against St Kilda.

No such thing as precedent in play, but notwithstanding it was what it was and he should go because his record (I assume) is still s***.

Puch? Barry Hall's an Austrian scooter enthusiast? Never pictured him as a mod.

I reckon there should be ... It's a feature of judiciaries everywhere and a good one. Otherwise how can you ever expect consistency.

Was reported for abusive language also. Don't know what the penalty for that is but considering there is microphones on the umpires he can't really deny it.

He has 96 carry-over points I'm pretty sure.

So that means he'll get atleast one week.

He would have to have a 50% loading too wouldn't he?

Looks like if Saints play Dogs they won't have their best forward, their best midfielder and their best match-up for Roo.

Wish he had of dropped the wannabe world saver all the same.

Couldn't stand that American sport ego dribble he was dishing up in his face. Once they put that black and white jumped on they just get full of lip. Jeez they better not win it,they make me sick to the core

Eade would be quietly relieved, if Barry gets suspended, he has another excuse to add to the file.

Now I understand

Ah Puch

The Maya god of death. He was portrayed as a skeleton or a bloated corpse, adorned with bells. As Hunhau the chief of demons, he presided over the ninth and lowest of the underworlds, the horrible mitnal. In modern folklore he survives as Yum Cimil, ‘lord of death’,

or

Barry Hall

Yes!! This kid thinks he is a cross between the profit mohammed, Che Guevera, and Cuba Gooding Jr. You're a filth player son and don't you forget it.
I was praying Barry followed through his punch a little further.

What did Che Gooding Jr say to him? It really would have been nice if Barry had clocked him properly.
