Exactly right...Pies will come in big time once they account for the Doggiesplugger66 wrote:That is because we are the only side into the prelim. If the pies win tonight they will be about 2.50 and we will be about 3.10 I reckon.Cirra wrote:On sportsbet we are now favourites @ $2.70

It is also because the Pies and Cats odds are now essentially being bundled into one.plugger66 wrote:That is because we are the only side into the prelim. If the pies win tonight they will be about 2.50 and we will be about 3.10 I reckon.Cirra wrote:On sportsbet we are now favourites @ $2.70

I've never placed a bet with the TAB, but when I saw the odds last night I was very tempted...never any doubt in my mind we were going to win by 4 goals. Of course, the umpires tried their best to foul that up, but the bookies were ripe for the picking.
Much less certain, but it might be worth throwing a tenner on the Dogs, they'd have terrible odds with all the Filth supporters pouring money on them, but since when have the Pies played in the wet? With their tall forwards and outside runners, a soggy MCG won't be their preferred option.

The current Betstar odds are:Iceman234 wrote:Anyone know where the odds currently stand?
Filth: $2.98
Saints: $3.15
Cat Whingers: $3.95
Dogs: $25.00
Swans: $28.00
Dockers: $60.00
Scum: $65.00
I wouldn't back against us but I reckon the Swans odds aren't bad.
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.
The Swans don't stand a hope in hell in winning the flag.linz wrote:The current Betstar odds are:Iceman234 wrote:Anyone know where the odds currently stand?

Given those odds it appears we will be rank outsiders in the GF against either Pies or Cats...we have one tough match at the odds to their two.
A $3 fancy against...$25, $28, $65...we should make the big one.
The pies and cats both $3 thereabouts with Freo at $60 on their side of the draw.
At those odds the Saints represent the value.

Will be placing a slice of my hard earned Friday night winnings on the Sainters. Have got a whack on them from earlier in the season at 6.00, but cant resist a little bit more
They should easily thump Freo at the G next week, and have a very good shot at beating the Pies.
May well be a Cats/Saints granny, and if it's wet, well.......

The reason 500k man has all that cash to throw around is because he knows how to bet.
