Geelong Cheats

Post: # 981280Post Finna »

I can't believe how often they duck and slide into tackles with a deliberate intention of getting a free kick. And the umpires fall for it every time.

And then mooney has the audacity to whinge about gwilts definite push in the back.

f*** off cheats. Suck that up.

Bring on the preliminary final.

Exactly, what about the high tackle to Stokes that was clearly not there in the last. After Schides has his jumper pulled out the distance to Richmond station in the dying moments of the GF we have needed one back and now here it is.

I like Gwilt explaining to the umpire that all Selwood does it throw his arms out...after all this time, you'd think those dimwits would know?

Lethal made the ironic comment (after Stevie J's soft goal) that the way things were going, players were going to head in to a contest head first know they'll get a free...WELL D'UH! How many years have we seen it.

After 3 gifted goals, it was sweet irony that a free cost them the game. We deserved that win.

The thought did cross my mind that it should have been a 50m penalty, but I thought that was a tight call. However, the school-boy theatrics post-'goal' convinced me they'd heard the whistle loud and clear.

When they don't get the free, ablett and selwood, how much do they appeal to the umps? Even, like in that ablett vs goddard contest, while the play is still going. Annoying as hell.
Have to be the worst in the league. yes.
BUT. satisfaction of win >>> annoyance at selwood and ablett.

I'd like to know what GAblett was whining about when he (finally) got pinged in the last...was he distressed his guernsey was getting all creased up? Caught. Stone. Cold.

The HTB decision against Ablett was a highlight of the night!!....
Not just the second effort that finally woke the Umpire up..... but Gablett's whining was HILARIOUS!

My favourite whining moment had to be Hayes going nice and low cat-style and ploughing his head into mini G's legs.

That Selwood free was a joke. As soon as he felt contact he dropped like a rag doll.

B-A-A-L-L-L! YESSS!

Ablett couldn't believe it when the umpire paid it. A beautiful moment.

The poor guy was clearly in shock. He's never been pinged for holding the ball before and didn't know how to react to the strange new situation. I feel for him.

I just finished watching the replay and Mooneys behavior is nothing short of disgusting! To repeatedly tell the umpire "do you realize you've just lost us the game" is appalling! Well newsflash Mooney: if there wasn't a push in the back the free wouldn't have been there! Toughen up princess!

By the way, anyone like this big whinge by the greatest (admittedly one of the more skillful) sooks in the entire league! Every five minutes (or less) he was squealing and whinging and waving his handbag around like a teenage girl at a stocktake sale - YES, I'm talking about Ablett!

No doubt it'd take half those Geelong supporters hours to wipe and remove all the sh*t they decorate themselves in these days! I hope they go out in straight sets! That'd be gold!

I don't know why he was appealing the holding the ball decision, it was very cut and dry.

Admittedly, I've seen similar ones in the past where St Kilda hasn't got the free kick - but it should always be there.

From lip reading, 99% sure Ablett said "He didn't even tackle me". thought it was funny considering he still just dropped the ball which he gets away with on a weekly basis.

Why is that. Because we won a great game and I dont think Geelong cheat. Yep that makes sense. Looks like we have another one on here.

If you bothered to actually read the threads before launching in to ridiculous inane comments, the point is we don't have anyone who appeals for frees that aren't there like "Duckhead" Selwood and "Chequebook" Ablett.

You don't see Lenny screaming at the umpire for imaginary frees.
He doesn't even appeal when he gets his head almost taken off!
