Out Of The Mouths Of Babes
Just speaking on facebook with my 11 year Godson (thankfully I have completely brainwashed the boy).
I asked him if he reckons we will win on Friday night...
His response...if we can beat them without Rooey, we will smash them with him
For some reason, that statement has just got me absolutely pumped.
GO SAINTERS!!!

Great stuff!
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

you can try an soften the mongrel by calling him an affectionate nickname.....to me chapman is an arsehole..... ...sure...he's a good hard footballer...but he is still an arsehole...i really despise him....skeptic wrote:Chappy is the best player at that club and is what has made them near unbeatable for 3 years.
I remember in the 2nd 1/4 of the GF when I heard Chappy did his hamstring. I thought to myself, if he's done for the game then so are Geelong. As it turned out, he came back on and won it for them
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

Good footballer, hard as nails, skilled on both sides, good endurance for his physical size, important man to stop.
Maybe this year?

I thought we all here are one "Team" but does not seem to.saintsfooty wrote:You're just jealous because your 9yo didn't say it.mohannair wrote:I also agree to the concept but it gets nullified by the fact that they did not have Chappy.

Why should I be jealous, its not a competition among us members. We all have one ultimate dream & that is to win the GF.
I just tried to hightlight the fact that Chappy is the more dangerous players thay have. Even in the GF he stood up when they needed.
