I've been a long time reader and small time poster, but i have to say that the negativity on this forum is astounding.
The Saints have had one of their most successful periods in decades, and many of our supporters (barrackers for those who are not members), are doubting the team. WHY?
Forget about Round 22, the Saints have got bigger fish to fry.
Do you remember the days when losing by 4 goals was almost considered a win? The 'near enough is good enough' mentality has long gone and we as supporters should sit back and realise that this team has the focus and the desire to go all the way.
If you think back to Round 4 the whole football world was thinking we were gone and plenty on this forum. OUR TEAM has more character than that and certainly more heart than that.
This post has been set up for those who wish to post ONLY POSITIVE things as the mighty sainters set up for what we all hope is going to be a SAINTABULOUS SAINTEMBER......Go you mighty SAINTERS.

Re: Saintember
Agree completely. People don't get it. Round 22 last year against melbourne we had 40 tackles playing risk free football. Same as yesteday against adelaide. First final last year 80+ tackles, Grand Final 118 tackles. We will be fine, look at the big picture. I also agree I have loved going to watch the saints for the last 8 years for once we are winning lots of games and if we can just get that flag, this will be our most successful period ever. Maybe some people on here aren't old enough to remember the 1980's but i am and i would take the last 8 years anyday over that period. We just need that flag though to capitalise on our opportunities.Number 5 wrote:I've been a long time reader and small time poster, but i have to say that the negativity on this forum is astounding.

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss
