Prepare for the raft of pessimistic threads
Just wait for the final siren.......
This team knows exactly what they're doing. We don't need to win. We have the double chance. Have faith.

Thats bullsh@t good teams always try to win. Very disappointing effort today. Not massively confident for next week.lurker#134 wrote:Just wait for the final siren.......

Re: Prepare for the raft of pessimistic threads
What's that, failing miserably to get it through the Adelaide zone? The same way we failed so miserably against Collingwood, who did the same thing to us and will do to us again, if we make it as far as playing them again?lurker#134 wrote:Just wait for the final siren.......

Or were you referring to Roo gaining valuable confidence in his kicking for goal?
One of the major reasons our guys are not bothering too much to get it through their zone, is that they know that if they bust a gut to get it through there and get it to Roo, he'll shank it sideways into the crowd.
I'm sure this is exactly how they planned on this going, after only just getting over Richmond last week (another side in the bottom 5. That's bottom 5).

Beautiful - I now feel so much better. Glad we didn't need to win. I feel really confident we can keep the Cats to 5 goals next week - just hope they don't get 6 goals or we are in trouble.

AAMI against a rabid opposition when our only motivation wasn't to get hurt.
And still you all bag.
You - and you know who you are - are all so predictably lily livered.

I still seriously doubt Freo wont go more than 1 final but hey have better skills than us at the moment as we dont protect our ball carriers. This critical when the team is slow and under pressure.mullet wrote:Yep saw fremantle try really hard to win last weekHughjarce wrote:Thats bullsh@t good teams always try to win. Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Absolute antipathy towards moving the ball forward, hung in there for a while and then just gave up deciding it wasn't worth busting a gut for no significant reward.
Milney and Schneids will make a difference. But it's not going to be easy.

I love the excuses for us playing bad.
I hope you are all right, I hope we win next week.
But reality is that if we dish this rubbish up next week, we won't make it past the second week and simply be making up the numbers.
This was the worst performance of the year and this is not the time of year to be having them.
But, I will go next week, hoping they can play a hell of a lot better than this.
