North up 21 - 14 our disposal is poor, our selection of team mates under pressure is high, turnovers killing us, it is like we are trying to bring some players into the game rather than play our natural attacking game. North is flooding back at every opportunity and clearing it easily. Roo hit the post from 2 metres and then missed from straight in front 30 metres. We are trying to be to precise and giving the ball to players under pressure which is causing the turnovers. and the umpiring is ordinary.

Whats the go when we win the ball in a congested area too many of the players are gun shy and handball the ball 2 metres to someone in a worse position. We need more of our players to run the ball out of stoppages to draw the opposition and then give the handball.

You are right, it's the short passing that's been particularly ordinary.

Now the Roos will be informed in the break that Hawthorn won, so it's in there hands to make finals by winning today. They have the incentive, the boys will need to be on.

We have gone inside 17 times to 9, so we just need to settle down and use the ball well.
