Sorry, but on Monday you named half the Sandy team including "Stanlet" and said it would finally be Pattison for Gardiner.plugger66 wrote:Yes I got it right on Monday and got it completely wrong yesterday but apparently the word was he was playing and it was obvious.Bernard Shakey wrote:Yes and I got it right yesterday.plugger66 wrote:Hilarious.GoTheTorp wrote:As per my mail a week ago that i posted back then.

What are you actually talking about. Named one on Monday and admitted I got it wrong yesterday. better than some saying they are in the know and it was obvious. By the way how many has Joey missed lately?Bernard Shakey wrote:Sorry, but on Monday you named half the Sandy team including "Stanlet" and said it would finally be Pattison for Gardiner.plugger66 wrote:Yes I got it right on Monday and got it completely wrong yesterday but apparently the word was he was playing and it was obvious.Bernard Shakey wrote:Yes and I got it right yesterday.plugger66 wrote:Hilarious.GoTheTorp wrote:As per my mail a week ago that i posted back then.

Good move.
Stanleys speed for fwd pressure in the back half could be really telling....
IMHO IF Kosi plays a good game, settles in ruck and is able to drift fwd and become dangerous......we just might have found a set up that gives us the best of both worlds....
IF Kosi could hold down second ruck.....alongside Gardiner......Stanley up fwd next to Roo still provides a lead up option but importantly some serious pace to hassle defenders.....

Sorry about that chief, I stuffed up with your Guess post yesterday.
Anyway Thinline was right, but stuffed up by saying it would probably be Pattison.
Joey is due for a rest and I reckon it's next week.
Stanley deserves a game and I hope he grabs it by the scruff of the neck and wrings it for all it's worth.

Yes he can.WaggaSaint wrote:Ok, I'm going to ask a possibly dumb question - can Rhys ruck?
I know he's light bodied and all, but he's very athletic. Good jump etc. I don't know that much about him, other than (as it's bloody obvious), he's quick...
Also we can put Blakey into ruck. I still remember his game against the Hawks in 08 where he rucked & also kicked few goals to get that "upset" win.
yes he can...but still very raw in the ruck....WaggaSaint wrote:Ok, I'm going to ask a possibly dumb question - can Rhys ruck?

I have nothing to prove, i offer some info that i sometimes receive, take it or leave it, no need for childish replies, it means zero to me and possible most other posters as well. Best i just shut up and dont relay anything i may know or find out ok? oh little one..

I like this, though that would mean no spot for McEvoy who I think has earned his place this year. He looked good drifting forward last week too. It would be unlucky for him if he got dropped for Gardiner and Stanley kept his place (Much as I like Stanley). Having said that, Ross will do whatever he thinks will work best - regardless. And we'll just have to trust him on that.Teflon wrote:Good move.

couple of thoughts
No way blake will ruck unless we lose a ruck to injury or the game is similar to last week and over at quarter time.
Stanley rucks very similar to ryder, good spring and does his best work once the ball hits the ground. Would be useful in spurts.
Big challenge for macca and kosi as the kanga's two rucks are VERY good.
Good team, no reason why the structures should not stand up. Need to win the hard ball gets, clearances, tackles and move it quickly.

they played together in one or two of the preseason games .....emmdee wrote:is this the first game Stanley has played with Roo in the side? if so it may give him a better chance to take some grabs up forward with less pressure from defenders .......will be interesting to see how/where Ross plays him
