One humorous thing to come from the Lovett court case

Post: # 971166Post B W and R all over »

I read this in the age this morning and had to double-check this paragraph:
Schneider estimates he had between 17 and 23 drinks that night. ''I don't forget things but I was a little bit drunk,'' he said.
No kidding Schneids, 17-23 drinks and you were a little drunk?

Reckons he moved onto the spirits after eight beers as well.

Fair effort #13

Fair effort.

If you're drinking 17-23 drinks in one sitting, then you probably do have a drinking problem.

I thought the funny thing to come out of the case was the fact that Rooey said this in his statement.
Nick Riewoldt was in bed asleep when he received a "frantic" call from Fisher about 2.30am saying police were at the apartment. "I turned my phone off thinking they were joking," he said.
Also found this dig at Grammy from McQ made me chuckle
Lovett and Gram hooked up with two young blondes. It was noticed.

To stir Gram, McQualter sent him a text saying: "Any danger of having a drink with the boys?"

the receptionist at work wants to know when it became the norm (especially at stkilda - so it seems) for players to swap and share?

Or, as my old man used to say "An absolute poltice"

Nah, "put a poultice on it". Surely only a gambling term, not talking about drinking?

OK - so Scneids was one of the SOBER ones - and they reckoned the girl was the real one *pissed*. How reliable is her evidence?
Gram thought she was fine in the room with Lovett and no one knew what was going on. How big is this "flat"?
It is all very strange.
Wait to hear what the others drank - and whether this is a regular event.

This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.
