5. Hayes (spectacular game and that left foot pass to McEvoy...wow)
4. Schneider (worked really hard)
3. Milne (magical)
2. Goddard (consistent)
1. McEvoy (coming of age)
Roo was terrific as was Joey and Peake, Gram showed some good signs, great team effort.

When Philtee's right, he's right.
[I know this is off-topic but I did like the game of James Gwilt. Apart from one glaring error he was an absolute "General"
across the back-line. Beautiful kicking all afternoon. Always in with a spoil. Always near his man. Always the last in any chain of
defensive handballs, and then knew what to do with it.

Did anybody use the pill better than Jimmy today (and he had a heap of it)?
Compare his ball use to bigger names - he's about the only defender that doesn't kick floaters. Worth his weight in shekels. Had a good year and going very nicely.
5 - Lenny Hayes - terrific game by him, was everywhere and absolutely dominated in the midfield. Those two goals he kicked were fantastic!
4 - Adam Schneider - great midfield, floating forward and set up plenty of goals. Terrific effort.
3 - Brendan Goddard - solid in defence and really took his oppurtunities.
2 - Stephen Milne - terrific effort up forward, worked hard all day.
1 - Ben McEvoy - best game fir us. Solid around the ground and good in the ruck.
Apologies to Riewoldt (almost back to his best), Ray (solid all day), Peake (what a pick up he is proving to be although he still needs to work on his wrong side kicking) and Gwilt (very handy down back)
