Paul Cahill
Is he still on our list? Will he be on our list next year. Hard to find that he'll ever get a game?

He is a Half-Forward flanker at best.ChicagoSaint wrote:it's a bit of a strange post i know, but we've unearthed stanley as a CHF.Bernard Shakey wrote:He's still on the list, but won't get a game this year.
what role will there ever be for a cahill type now moving forward over the next decade?
should the focus shift and be on developing utility types?

He can play in key position role of CHB,FB or even up forward.
Has been inconsitant had a few good games ,but is still on the list would like to see a nother season out of him he is only 19.
What happens if one of the key position players go down at 193 cm could fill a role like stanley did.
Cahill is only 81kg does need to bulk up though.

one solid pre season will see that problem solved. then some consistency - possibly even in the preseason - and we could have our 3rd tall forward solved for next year.saint58 wrote:He can play in key position role of CHB,FB or even up forward.

I say persist. I reckon he could be something with a bit of TLC in his preparation.FQF wrote:one solid pre season will see that problem solved. then some consistency - possibly even in the preseason - and we could have our 3rd tall forward solved for next year.saint58 wrote:He can play in key position role of CHB,FB or even up forward.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

The Grumpy One told you he was gone back in April.
He does not play like a half forward flanker, but as something that rhymes with that.
He is tall, so was worth the punt, but never looked up to the standard.
Expect to see him running around for a Brisbane based club, but not THE Brisbane based club.

Players like Cahill may get a reprieve only because the reality of the draft is they will only be replaced by hopefuls with even less talent.

Re: Paul Cahill
Of course it is his brother or dad. Do you actually have any idea. The guy asked a question he knew the answer to. Wanted to see his response. Now get on with your job.stinger wrote:so i guess that it's his brother playing for sandy this weekend....plugger66 wrote:No not on the list anymore.ChicagoSaint wrote:Is he still on our list? Was probably staring delisting in the face however Walsh's sudden departure must give him some chance of a reprieve.bennymac5 wrote:Whare peoples thoughts on him? Will he be delisted?
Having said that, little point keeping him on the list unless he can really show he's serious about his AFL career. Injuries haven't helped of course but few kids are given a fourth year when they've produced so little. Has ability no doubt; the question is whether he will ever have the drive to show it to us.
