would have been a sliding doors to know how far along X may be if he had stayed at the Saints

his delay this year would / could be maybe traced to the change in rehab- I remember his first article from Brisbane and how they had looked at his training for core strength- when interviewed a couple of weeks ago he mentioned that he had back issues - I could maybe think the change of style/system may not have accounted for his previous work.

I've been half watching the game and hadn't set eyes on him. Was thinking surely he's not injured. Very disappointing for him after nearly two years out. Hasn't played since 2008 at senior level, is that right?

Sorry I dont get it. His delay was due to knee reconstruction.

Yes, but he did seem to take a very long time to get back from it. It was April last year. The recovery was obviously slowed by other existing issues and/or problems in the recovery.
Just saw him trudging off sadly in the tracksuit with his team.
Very sad for him. Hopefully for him this current injury is minor, but I doubt it.

Poor bugger.
Hope it's not serious for X. Wish him only well.
