Patto has some rubbish said towards him for his whole time with us and it really is unwarranted IMO
For me..
5. Joey
4. CJ
3. Patto
2. Geary
1. BJ
I voted for consistency Lenny went missing in the first half
Fisher was a loose man in defence and he played well but had no opponent
Patto was our best ruck for the day and continues to improve IMO
15 disposals and 11 hitouts...
Has Big Mac ever done that?
But some here want him dropped and replaced with Mac...
WHY

5 Goddard
4 Fisher
3 Montagna
2 Geary
1 Gardiner
Very hard to give votes today as we had so many passengers yet we still nearly had the same scoring shots as them. Gilbert's disposal lets him down badly at times as did Fisher's in the first half but Sam still put in a top effort. Gardiner got in because I had to put somebody there I guess

Agree people can vote for whoever they want. However, putting the names of 5 Collingwood players is uncalled for...hence my comment earlier, and then the abuse that followed. (Still don't appreciate being called a d***head)SainterK wrote:5

Oh, and what's the go with people trying to disagree or influence votes, it's opinion.

Oh, I didn't see that post SN12...I was talking more the people who try to influence who we vote for St Kilda wise.saintnick12 wrote:Agree people can vote for whoever they want. The whole team was flat, irrespective of how the Pies played. A few of our players had good possession counts, but much of it was innefective and junk possessions. As far as quality goes, it is hard to pick any Saint, but Fisher, Monty, Patto, Gwilt, Lenny maybe, though no one deserved any votes as even our best were below par.

It was certainly hard to give votes to anyone. It will be interesting to see how our coaches voted it when the B & F comes around.spert wrote:The whole team was flat, irrespective of how the Pies played. 5. Montagna. Usual consistent game.
4, Goddard. Played well, not quite his usual standard.
3. Hayes. Same. Down a bit on normal game.
2.....Fisher. With 18 marks should have ranked higher, but several poor disposals early cost us dearly. Same with Gilbert,.
1. Geary. A gutsy game. WOuld have liked to give it to Jack Steven, our only multiple goal kicker, but he was not given enough game time.

Re: VOTES vs Collingwood
Actually, Big Mac did better than that merely 1 week before, against the Lions, but yet was dropped... 16 disposals and a goal... Including a few strong contested marks...St Fidelius wrote:and some on here want him dropped for next week and favour Mac instead...battye wrote:It's a tough one today, for the wrong reasons sadly...

WHY
Sure, Patto did him for hitouts, but the reality is they are of little significance...
I have nothing against Patto, but I dont really rate him either... But for some reason your seem to have a real dislike for Big Ben, which is unfair and unwarrented..
Clearly he is a talent and has more upside than Patto... Patto tries but will never be more than that, a trier... Ben could and should be a gun...
