What rubbish.

Lenny did some very good things that could have been damaging had others been more effective. Ffs he can't win the hard ball shovel it out and then get on the end of his own work to run and kick inside 50, then find himself on the lead, go back and slot it.

I'm not saying he outplayed Ball, but would've thought he did enough to figure in our top 5 on a very tough day to find players who outpointed their opponent.

I don't think Goddard was damaging today, not our worst - but I don't think he was among our best.

Interesting to see Fisher and Gilbert poll well on here when one considers that between them they gave away 3-4 crucial goals in the first half which basically put us out of the game.

These two rack up plenty of possessions each week, largely when playing loose at the back. Difficult to avoid getting touches and marks in those roles, but the stats don't really tell the whole story IMO.

But, to be fair, I only saw the first half. Perhaps the Sams engineered a massive comeback after half time (what was the final score anyway?)

I didn't give Gilbert any votes today, like most of the Saints today he had a shocker. Racked up a few possessions, but just seemed wrongfooted on too many occasions and panicked a bit under pressure.

I gave Fisher a few, although I was reluctant. He got a lot of easy possessions but made a few bad errors. Having said that he did intercept a few balls, got into good positions, etc and on a day where everyone was down, I guess you could say he was "less down" than others.

Had a dip- 20 possessions, 6 tackles and a goal, disposal lets him down but most of the boys missed targets today

Contested well and psychologically he seems better because you weren't expecting better.
