I actually think its the small forwards who could determine this game.
If it is another tight struggle with lots of numbers back, it could be the side that makes the most of their opportunities. If Davis or Didak can poo-jab a goal out of congestion, that could be our best hope.
For you, it could be a Schneider or Milne that gets off the hook and kicks a goal out of no where.
But you also have the dangerous tall forwards. Kosi and Roo could tear us up. Dawes is yet to perform against quality opposition...apart from a good qualifying final 2 years ago against Adelaide.
Depends how we approach this game. If we bring the same game-plan, then I think our only hope is to scrap a few goals through small-forwards. If we open it up, then your midfield may have the class and smash us anyway, but we stand a greater chance of scoring.
hey guys, i'm obviously pretty happy with the win. We owed ya one after the way you've dispensed with us in the past.
But i'm not getting too far ahead of myself. Saints played pretty bad...and we played very good.
I don't think you guys are 30 points better than us, but we aint 50 points better than you. Its obviously somewhere in between....and the difference seems to be accurate kicking.
All that matters now is September. This win means very veyr little other that the fact it gives us the chance to get top spot...which is beneficial because we'd prefer to play Doggies or Freo.
We'll meet again this year I'm sure of it. And it should be a cracker.
I was very happy however for Macaffer and Davis who Stinger gave a spray to. The dribbler Macaffer kicked 3 goals and did a fair job on Gilbert.
Anyways, thanks for having me, and I look forward to the next clash.
