INS: BJ, Kosi (depending on the ankle)
OUTS: Pattison, Steven

Like to find a way to keep Steven in. Going to be a gun. Those three goals against Geelong have won me and he's only going to get better. We need every goal-kicker we can get.

Swap Dawson with Blake and I think you'll be right.

I guess I am still hoping he'll be right, we'll know very soon.

Mini is the one that should go for Godard on form....only a couple of good games this year but seems to get more chances than any other player.

In: BJ, Kosi

Out: Pattinson, (one of) Steven, Geary, McQualter

Armo got 22 touches acording to the match report
Patto out i like him but i still think Mc is a better forward option
And Dempster out did ok but i carnt see anyone else to drop.

I don't quite understand Patto in our side, both he and Stanley can't kick the ball to save themselves, but so much more upside to Stanley as he is the future. I suppose Patto deserved his spot due to great form in the twos. We have Gardi and Mac already. With Koz back, thats enough in the way of BIG talls.

I don't like the talk of dropping Gram and Steven. I think Gram is one of the most important players to our side, he worked his way into the game on Saturday. Steven definitely does not deserve to be dropped, he's a kid with great enthusiasm, aggression, and loves a goal (mind you thats everything Army should be too).

I like Mini's defensive pressure, he isn't flashy, but he is important. BUT, if you were choosing out of Steven and Mini for that defensive small forward type role, I'd jump all over Jack for that selection.

I honestly believe Jarryn isn't showing enough, Dempster does well as he can play tall, is very versatile, but Jarryn would have to be the least likely to keep his spot.

Mind you, I'd love to drop Zac as my heart is in my mouth whenever he goes near the ball, you cant have a player so questionable playing on the last line of defence against either smart or strong forwards (as much as I appreciate his efforts - he just aint up to it).

So what I'd like would be:

IN: Goddard, Kosi
OUT: Patto, Dawson

but what will be more likely is:

IN: Goddard, Koso
OUT: Patto, Geary

Collingwood are much better than Brisbane at the moment. Gram is very important player for us coming back from a injury.I trust our medical staff will do the right thing.but playing for Sandi where the standard is slower gives him time to get to full match fitness.

Ditto

100% agree! To drop Gram would be lunacy. He is as important to our team structure as Roo is.

Some people have no idea.

In BJ and Kosi
Out Pattison (unlucky although we could rest Gardiner?) and Dawson(with Cloke out I dont see match ups for both Blake and Zac?)

Never been right once though so?

Maybe this year?

In: Goddard
Out: Pattison

Kosi wont come up, and structure wise this is the one that works the most. Wont be a need to move gwilt up the ground into the forward line, as Gonny will play that band-aid role he does so well.

Wonderful stuff trying to figure out who will go out when everyone has performed solidly.

Would be surprised if Dempster got dropped as their forward line is more the 6 foot type of guys than the apes a la Cloke (out) and Dawes.
With Cloke out wouldn't be surprised if Dawson out.
I thought he has looked better last two weeks in general though.

I'd also be surprised if Dempster is out, if the likely in's for Collingwood are Medhurst, Davis or Dick...especially given were already missing Baker.

oh wow, good to see him back. He was in a track suit looking a bit sorry for himself at training, just assumed he was still injured.

Dempster is a favourite child - won't be dropped.

He did well against Geelong.....expect him to lift in big matches.
