Where will be seating next week?
I will be getting there early probably around midday.

I went and got some seats today and at some stage during the week in was turned into a fully ticketed game, so I wouldn't be waiting until the end of the week.

Hopefully the ferals will all be in the Ponsford and we can have the rest of the ground to ourselves.

We'll probably end up somewhere in the GA seats in the Great Southern Stand. Collingwood occupies almost all of the Ponsford Stand when they play there. Where's saint66au when you need him? !!

The Gen Adm seating areas will be announced late Monday Id imagine

Id be hoping there'd be somewhere on the bottom level that we can sit, but I have a sneaking suspicion that, like the Geelong game, it will be the top deck only and everywhere else you'll have to book at Ticketek

Very annoying if that happens.

The opposite is the case for tomorrow's Demons Dons game. I am taking my father in law and he's 77 and it looks like it might rain so I want to buy an under cover seat on level one. There is nothing available. Yet M2-13 are general admission...I'd happily pay now to buy a seat in the under cover section but none available...yet so much general admission. So now I have to drag him there at least an hour before the game.

If someone can post info in this thread or a new one once seating info is available would be appreciated.
Would like to sit with as many fellow saints supporters as possible as the ferals will be out in force.
Wouldn't be surprised if the AFL with it's finite wisdom calls it a fully ticketed game at the last moment.

The MCG do it differently to ES. They sell reserved seats on the ground level up until about 6 days before the game, then make a call as to which if any areas they will set aside as GA. This info is posted on the MCG website "subject to change". It does change too, as the game there v the Pies in 2008 they took away 2 bays of advertised GA in the bottom deck of the Olympic Stand and sold them as reserved seats in the week of the game.

It WONT be suddenly announced as "all-ticket" tho..not a chance in hell

Brown and Blue. Worst colours in the Ammos apart from about 20 other sides.

I cannot agree there, I love the combination of brown and blue.

So what are the chances of me rocking up on game day, scanning in with my 16 game membership and getting a seat on the bottom level of the southern stand ??

At the risk of being proven wrong, just about zero

IMO if theres any bottom deck GA seating it will be a few bays over in the Olympic Stand

The Ponsford Stand is all Magpie

Not much if the ticketek seller was struggling to find me four seats on level one yesterday.

Ok, so I just upgraded 2 16 game memberships to a reserved seat. I got M1, row F, so it looks like there is still a fair few seats left. Im pretty safe in assuming the filth cheersquad will be in the ponsford yeah ?

On a side note, when did the tickets become so expensive ? It cost $27 to upgrade 16 game memberships into 2 seats  Bring back the good old days (2 years ago) when I could scan in at the gate and choose a seat in the bottom level for nothing
