This game is a good opportunity for some second string players to stand up just like the hawks game in Tassie last year to put pressure on for positions however it is not turning out that way.
Too many players are standing back and Melbourne is getting easy run all over the ground it is only their lack of skills and precision that is allowing us to be ahead.

lot of saints player look down, Melbourne could be trouble in the last if the saints don't blow them away in the third.

when was last time we really looked sharp against d's? we always seem to be half arsed against em i reckon. lethargic effort so far.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

One thing about Melbourne is they have been poor starters and poor finishers so far this year so if we can kick ahead in the last half and find some space we should be able to finsih them off and run over them.

With our strong finishes we should blow them out the water. Need to chip away at Geelongs % advantage.

Some Saints players trying to be fancy and showing off with some of their work, commentators on Fox picked up on it and must agree.
Dees score when we should have the buried by now.

Hope that's more it. Did anyone see if he hobbled off or if it's just precautionary?
