Should just talk the State Government into building new stands at Moorabbin, 20k seated initially (wings) with plans to up it to 30-35k.

Redeveloped social club included in one of the new stands which we would pay towards.

Announce it with included funding for upgrades to the Frankston Line, Neapean Highway and the surrounding roads ect. make it so the carpark is accessed directly from South Rd.

Get Richmond on board to play their Gold Coast, Western Syd, Freo and Port games there agree to do the same and get the AFL on board by saying we will take the hit of playing the new sides at home provided they help fund the new stadium. Should be able to get the initial stands done for 100m or less.

Moorabbin is pretty much a blank canvas at the moment and probably more suitable as a venue than Seaford.

All up we could have 7-8 games at Docklands and 4 at Moorabbin.

If we get Richmond on board the Stadium could get around 8 games a season. We could use it for 1 training session a week.
Could also be used for local league finals, Pre Season Matches ect.

It was reported that there would be more games in Hobart in the next few years. Maybe 4 a year and a 4 in launie taking it to 8 in tassie a year!

As for the OP - the contractual gate share issue with etihad was resolved at the end of last year. So those issues are no longer issues.

But yeah dont be surprised if the saints end up playing a home game in Hobart at some point in the next few years.

We have left Moorabbin and I am 100% sure the club is happy at Etihad. Seaford is more hope of getting grandstands than moorabbin and seaford is a 0% chance.
