Is it just me, or is this guy just dial a quote now or what...
Could have just said something like...."Grats on the 200 Milney. If I had my way you never would have made it".
But no....just a coupla cheap shots before his milestone...

2006 is now a long time ago. he has nothing new to say. i wish the press would stop asking him already. they might as well as stan alves regarding players. its only 13 years since we had him as coach.

I keep reading threads moaning about the bias from Luke Darcy and James Hird towards their old clubs, but now we hear from a guy talking about his old club in a non-bias manner and everyone is reaching for the tissues.

GT is clearly biased..just look at his ratings this year of Ball being an elite player and his rubbishing of Milne DESPITE the fact that Milne is having a very good year as both an individual and team player.
GT is so biased that he cannot see how deluded his comments on St Kilda players are.
GT is not rating and commenting on St Kilda and former players as they are playing now, but rather from an agenda of his past decisions and performance (or rather non-performance) as a coach.
Then there is the separate matter of class.....or rather lack of.
Maybe there will be a footy show in future with GT and Aka on it....they seem headed in the same direction.

The only decent thing to do would be to acknowledge you misquoted someone (though how the F*** you do it 'accidentally' like that is beyond me), apologise, and get on with it.

I knew it, the story HS is making a concious choice lately to misrepresent things and show things in the most negative light possible.
Similar when Cousins was OTC and spoke about so many different things, and they decided to run with a headline of "I thought the AFL was out to get me" which was such a selective quote and totally misrepresented what was a good interview.
GT made sure he clarified on both FC and in the Age a couple of days a go, that he concedes the growth in Milne as a footballer since his tenure.
Gerard Whately on before the bounce said what most of us feel- maybe GT has a point but it is mean spirited for it to be the main point of an article two days before a wonderful milestone- no matter the other issues,
and the Herald sun are Mean spirited to have such a headline....
