If Adelaide win it will only make Fremantle that much harder to beat Sunday next week.
WTF, this is the Sandy v Pies post not the Crows v Freo post, don't make much sense posting it here.

Relax will ya...technically it belongs in the opp forum but I doubt it would get looked at. We're here watching progress scores from one game - why not discuss another.

unfortunately I think Armo did his knee 4q judging from his emotion & ice on his knee. Hope I'm wrong.

I saw the last half in terrible conditions and from what i saw Armo, Simpkin & Pattison were our best. Armo also looks to have a (right) knee injury got carried off mid way through the last quarter. He hobbled with aid of trainer to the rooms with big ice pack.

Notes:

Tommy Walsh kicked a good goal off the deck in the 3rd qr. Also played a little bit in the backline as well.
Jesse Smith played on Brad Dick and battled away.
Alistair Smith played on Jaxon Barham and kept him quiet.
Dempster played on Lockyer and looked disinterested.
Simpkin played on Jack Anthony and gave him a bath what i saw, the Pies supporters even gave him the raspberry in the last qr when he got a kick.
Lynch played in the backline and looks like they are grooming him as a defender.
Pattison easliy had the better of Wood must be a wet tracker.

Armo was clearly the best....Broke away from the packs and delivered long. Really concious effort to break away and provide run.

Hurt his right knee. Walked into the rooms with ice on it. Didnt look good.

Simpkin is a gun. Love his work....

We have got a few forwards fighting for spots at Sandy, so could be why he was playing back. Has a 'footy brain', so would suit at either end IMO.

Quick notes I took at the match (imo):

(walked into the ground with Zac and Eddy - no limp on Zac :D )

J Smith - took brave mark, tackling good, didn't make much impression on game (looks like he needs core work and leg work)
Will Johnson - good endevour, decent pace
Simpkin - excellent, played on Anthony, good spoils, terrific mark 3rd quarter, used forward toward end of match
Lynch - played well, great kick of the football, played both ends
Gaertner - good in the air
Hutchings - excellent passage of play on wing in second quarter (think he'll be good), looks fit and raring but needs development
Dempster - much improved from last week, did some good work
Heyne - no notes
Steven - decent second quarter with some inside fifty nice kicking
Walsh - finding the ball well early on, good strong mark early, soccer goal 3rd quarter, payed both ends, the man is a strong runner
Cahill - two goals started well early, went missing towards end, ball watched last quarter when should have competed for mark, showed signs
Armitage - good game, ball hungry, good tackling and inside bustling, injury does not look good, doing a slow head shake as assisted off
A Smith - no notes (from memory ran well and useful)
Pattison - tooks some very good marks, influenced the game

AND IT WAS FREEZING

BY end of Game the second comment had affected the first comment- definitly annoying him after an hour or two in that weather.

What!
You are probably too young to remember games played at Antarctic Park, Wavereley.
What you experienced was a warm winter's day.

If you farted at Antarctic Park there was no smell because it immediately turned to liquid methane.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

That's the medial collateral ligament, the medial ligament of the knee.

LOL - like a game played on Uranus! Walsh probably didn't even notice the conditions yesterday.

At least they provide some coverage unlike ST Kilda's pathetic website.
