Or Collingwood/Richmond/probably every other football club and probably a few NRL clubs too.Otiman wrote:I think you guys are all missing the point.
Look forward to a great father/son selection in 18 years time!
We all are assuming it is going to be a boy too...that poor child is going to be hated by all if it is a girl...chortle.

What will the child, once old enough, think about all this?
Has the journalist concerned at any point actually engaged his brain to any meaningful extent at all?
Is this really what we have become?
How f*cking sad.

'Victoria
It is an offence in Victoria to sexually penetrate a person under the age of 16 (Crimes Act 1958, s45(1)). However it is a defence if the younger party was aged 10 years or older and the offender was not more than 2 years older than the younger party (s45(4)(b)). Further it is an offence for a person to sexually penetrate a person under the age of 18 if that person is under the care of the offender (s48) (guardian, teacher etc). A person under the age of 18 is not allowed to work as a prostitute nor to be in a brothel."

Very sage advice St Michele, very sage. Very interested in your thoughts on the glaring social inequity I highlightedSt Michele wrote: My final word I promise remember this situation can be avoided if any person having sex and not wanting a pregnancy uses a condom ( and other contraception). This can be used as a lesson for all young people... think how you would have felt in this situation. The choice is use a condom it costs $2 don't use one and you may have to pay many thousands of dollars over your life for a child.

As I said earlier today, I hope everyone involved has good people around them supporting them at this time, I truly do.
Shame to the media for running with a story purely for the sake of the potential headline that the words "St Kilda" and "Sex Scandal" would create. I hope you read this, and I hope you hang your heads in shame for the part you played in all of this.

So it would appear the main outcome of yesterdays little meltdown was:
- Humiliating a 17 year old girl.
- Causing mild embarrassment to a couple of AFL players.
The footy show is tonight, and they like to "break" stories... message to Hutchy: resist temptation! hanging around a high school all day so you can harass a teenager to try and get her to drop a name is just plain creepy.

Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.
I feel for this young girl. Not once has she claimed anything untoward happened. She was just seeking assistance from the school to help her during her pregnancy. Lets face it, she is going to need it.
If she was after money, why did she not approach St Kilda (or one of the other clubs involved) first and try to extort money from them?
She is a young immature girl that has gotten in way over her head and if she decides to have the baby, she has just made her life that much harder. So lets just lay off her and stop with the character assassinations.
Whomever the father is, they are going to have to pay maintenance. So they should. End of story. It is now a private matter and it always should have been.

Just to be clear: I have no evidence to suggest Hutchy or any outher journo is currently stalking the girl. I should have worded it differently, it does sort of sounds like a rumour rather that something I made up.suss wrote:That is terrible if true. What a parasite.BAM!
