Pregnancy is calculated from the date of the last period. So an encounter 8 weeks ago could mean a pg that is 10 weeks along.

If she is 7 weeks along then she would need to go back about 5 weeks to work out the likely culprit.

just answered my own question. the age is reporting she is definitely keeping kid:

The girl had asked for help with classes during the pregnancy and the school had responded with offers of counselling and study help, he said.

What this thread does make clear is that hundreds of people within this thread, and based on statistics 95% of society - Have no f-ing idea what the law is regarding age of concent.

Such a serious issue, there is no easily available legislation for the average person and the fact that this type of stuff isnt taught in schools at all, or well enough.

All the very best to those personally involved from every angle on this topic.

First of all good news in the terms of the high and mighty moral tone taken by some people ( and not I don't mean this forum) as it now becomes a private issue and someone will be up for child support once paternity is sorted and rightly so.

Having said that I eagerly awaiting upcoming editions of "New Idea" and "New Weekly" with stories re this young woman and her baby. Look out for Max Markson to start hawking the story.
