Watching the Freo v Collingwood game lasta week, the "left of screen" end on TV seemed to be a sea of Magpie fans, yet Ive read on here often that only a small % of even WA Saints fans can get seats at Subi for our games, let alone the "army of travelling fans" that they talked about at the Pies game..that all seemed to be able to sit together behind those goals, spreading far and wide away from what would be the Cheer Squad area

Are Freo games really that much easier to get tickets to, or does the Filth have a special deal that gives their fans far more tickets than other visiting Clubs?

..and yes ill add my voice of congratulations to the noise you guys made on Sunday. Song heard loud and proud on TV well before the end :-)
i did some snooping about on this and from an unreliable source found out that the western magpies buy up a block of seats each year for their game and then sell them back to their members ... now im not sure how true it is but im currently digging around to see if this is somthing we could organise ... (having said that i may be more heartache to try and organise with our members  )

I take it this means the raffle or whatever it was for leftover Freo tickets has taken place already? Might have to chance it at the Box Office then.

Yes that is what I thought happened with them. It means work for the club but it also means we can make more noise and support the boys as one instead of being strewn around the ground.

G'day Folks!!! What a GREAT time was had by all!!!! You WA Sainters were MAGNIFICENT! and being a part of such a great win in my first interstate game as a cheersquad member was very special!!! (My god waving those floggers (  ) around was hard work for a man of my advanced years!! I thought the support for our boys was AWESOME and the AFL and WA clubs need to be lobbied by all of us to ensure an end to such an unfair allocation of seats.
I'll never forget my first visit to Subi and look forward to doing it again (with a similar onfield result!) before too long!

Best regards to all!!!!

Dave
