Roo will coach St Kilda one day-Lyon
Source: Post Match Press conference
RL was asked "How is the big blonde guy going?"
He said in so many words that he is good and he sat in the box and pulled a few good moves. Then joked about the fact that he will coach St Kilda one day but then actually said it in a more serious tone. Interesting.

Didn't know that about Justin Plapp.Milan Faletic wrote:Yep. No words.Enrico_Misso wrote:There once was another blonde headed heir apparent who was destined to coach us, but sadly never quite got there.

Not so funny but I'm sure Barks would be happy that were challenging, since he never played in Finals.dcstkfc wrote:Didn't know that about Justin Plapp.Milan Faletic wrote:Yep. Sorry in all honesty I was thinking Ditterich, all a little before my time.Milan Faletic wrote:Not so funny but I'm sure Barks would be happy that were challenging, since he never played in Finals.dcstkfc wrote:Didn't know that about Justin Plapp.Milan Faletic wrote:Yep. No disrepect to Barks, a club legend gone before his time.

Riewoldt should stop wasting his time with Bwuce Wankavaney and continue to help the coaches in the box on match day. The forward line worked well after half time after they decided to kick the pill long.

Dunno about that. When I was 27 I voted Liberal.Saints43 wrote:He is 27 years old. He will never change his mind about any decision he has made prior to this moment. If he does he is a liar.plugger66 wrote:Roo has said previously that he has absolutely no interest in coaching and I believe him.
Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.
He does not seem the analytical type. He seems more the 'go out and just play' type. He might know what he is talked about re coaching moved but being able to transfer that into a group of 40+ with the rest of a coaching unit is something entirely different than ordering players around a forward half or coming up with the odd good ideas from the back of the coaches box.plugger66 wrote:Roo has said previously that he has absolutely no interest in coaching and I believe him.

i dont care about what he does...except lead us to a flag during his time as captain.
we will quietly achieve until round 22.
he will have full power back (piss off Lloydy ya twit), and will get us over the line come sept

To me he doesn't even seem like a person that wants to go into the media. He is not writing any articles for anyone anywhere at the moment so that should be a good display of his desire of a post-playing media career.Animal Enclosure wrote:He'll probably be one of those blokes with the potential to be a great coach but will earn mega bucks in the media and save himself the grief and hair loss.plugger66 wrote:Roo has said previously that he has absolutely no interest in coaching and I believe him.
