Hawks snatched a flag with some innovative tactics and luck in 2008. Collasped into mediocrity the following year.

We have now collapsed into mediocrity. We should have snatched it while we were there. We'll regret that for the next 10 years because that's how long it's going to take to get there.

Everything is exposed, we are getting ripped apart now all over the ground.

Saints footy is completely dead. Whatever that was.

I think what it shows is that the league has been very even for a long time, save for Geelong 07-10 and Port/Brisbane 01/02-04, teams can fall back to the pack very quickly with a few injuries. (Or 1 really important injury)

Apart from '07, we have made the finals every year since '04. Wh*rethorn in 2008 were the biggest one hit wonder in sports since the Cincinnati Reds won the World Series in 1990.

Not at all, from memory, our start is more similar to Collingwood and Doggies last year...

At the moment we sit on the same amount of wins as Doggies and Carlton only seperated by %[/list]

one hit wonder. i friggin wish that was true. sadly they have won 10 flags in the last 50 years. only team to win one in ever decade in last 50 years.

nice to be be one hit wonders like the hawks. and i hate the farkers!

So true. We are the one hit wonder and that was back in 1966.
Heading into the 71 GF it was 1-1.

Now 10-1!
