His return of only 2 goals in 7 games might have something to do with it. Last year he averaged 0.9 goals per game, which mean he generally bobbed up with a goal most weeks. Hard to tell if that's Mini's fault or whether he's a victim of the lack of inside 50s and crumbing opportunities.

His tackle numbers are down too, albeit only very slightly, but I get the sense that he isn't apply as much "forward pressure" as he did last year.

Swap Raph & McQualter...

Swap Raph & McQualter...we need another small shut down player down back and I think with time Raph would go OK up forward. At least his clangers wont cost us goals.

Otherwise keep Schnides in the middle and bring Peake in as a Mini type defensive forward with license to kick for goal whenever he gets it. Carlton took chances and it paid off -it might be time our forwards took on the game a bit more.

The only other I could really see a place for is maybe a Tommy Walsh as a big full back replacement and start playing him and see how it goes.

The one thing I see as important is to stop mixing it up. We need a stable structure and to stop looking disorganised as we shift the team around to create another half arsed forward line.

I just dont get it

:?
His last half against Dogs was crucial. Last week he started well enough. I agree... he's been reasonable lately, just started slow, and once a guy is known as 'out of form' it takes well over a month of good form to be known as 'in form' on this forum.

How about we say to ourselves, fact of the matter is, Kozi can't mark, we don't wanna lose Goddard to the forward line.... f*** it. Let's just dribble the ball along the ground into the forward line and have a structure something like this:

Schneider Ray Gram
Mini Milne Steven

Gordon Fode couldda been Plugga
